Universal TAU-II® Crash Cushion
The Universal TAU-II® is a fully redirective and non gating crash cushion system that has been approved to NCHRP 350 for hazard widths up to 2.6m wide and with capacities from Test Level 1 (50km/h) to over Test Level 3 (100km/h).
The Universal TAU-II® can satisfy all high and low speed requirements and all narrow to very wide hazards. It is ideally suited for hazards such as the ends of rigid barriers, tollbooths, utility poles
and wherever it is desirable to have vehicles redirected on the impact side of the system. Ease of installation, numerous transition options, low maintenance, reusability of system components, open architecture and low lifecycle cost makes the system ideal for treating most roadside hazards.
